API Apps Integration

KonnectzIT is build to be the best of both apps worlds: API & Webhooks. So you can integrate both kinds of application with our automation platform using simple methods.

Step -1: On “Apps” section from the main menu of the platform, you can find a group of applications titled “Authorise Now”(refer image below).

They are API method applications, that you need to use key(API) to integrate that app with our automation platform.

         

We are taking “Bitly” app as an example to show you how to integrate apps with KonnectzIT using the API method.

         

Step-2: You need to get the API key from Bitly app. So, log in to your Bitly account and get the API key by navigating through Profile menu > Profile settings > Generic access token > Enter the password  > Generate token.

         

Step-3: Select the “Bitly” app on KonnectzIT app list and a pop-up menu will appear as shown in the image below,

           

Step-4: In this pop-up, you need to enter the API key that you got from and click “Continue” button to complete the process.

Note that, every app has its own methods to get API key on that platform. Kindly check tutorials or help articles about the respective app to get API key access.
